We built the Template Tool software (TT) to be an interactive wire-framing tool. TT allows nontechnical business analysts to rapidly mock-up prototypes of processes and form-based applications. Within a Graphical User Interface (GUI),
users drag-and-drop field components from the toolbar into the work-space and make push-button selections. Users can add skip-logic, business rules, any number of nested conditional statements through if/then and else-if statements, and
workflow simulation without writing code.
Requirements' teams are now able to accompany, or even replace, their narrative format of requirements, with clickable and interactive prototypes that demonstrate for a development team how
the intended product is supposed to function, which eliminates ambiguity.
If developers are still receiving narrative based requirements with static wire-frames, the developer can also quickly prototype how the product might function
and appear, then show the requirements' team and clients for feedback in an Agile development way, before spending many hours writing and rewriting code or configuring a commercial off-the-shelf solution.
